Summer baseball has started for Ben, even if school isn't out quite yet. He's playing for North Dale Gold with some of the kids he's played with over the years, and some new kids too. First base is still his main position, but also trying out some new positions including third base and outfield. He seems to be doing well at bat, with several hits at the start of the season. Doug's coaching the team, after taking a break last year. This week they played a close game against Hayden Heights (on St. Paul's east side of town last week), losing 3-2. Ben had the 2 RBI's with a hit to the left side of the field.
