quickly...

just catching up before thanksgiving break begins. always busy...this past weekend, we (ben, doug, and terri) went to the Como Park HS musical (Urinetown--quite a crazy and fun show about a town that has forced everyone to pay to pee. emma went with friends to activity park called "Jump it Up." Saturday, we had a spaghetti dinner fundraiser, went for desserts with our friends Josh and Letta (letta just happens to be the new managing editor of Contexts!), and then saw the movie The Blind Side--a rare family film we all enjoyed. on sunday, ben and doug sang in a special 'youth/young adult' ensemble at Hope. Did a little ice skating at the Roseville Oval too. also baked some desserts for a department pie party on monday (yes, our oven is now repaired). yesterday (monday) was another big one: the department pie party, of course. ben had his first bball practice/tryouts over at Como; emma had bball practice with doug coaching (terri even got roped into scrimmaging when we needed an extra player), and then their first home hockey game of the year--they lost again but played better than last week. this morning, our garage door got messed up, but we got a repair guy in and had it fixed before the end of the lunch hour. whew.... Now, off to bball practices.
