week ahead includes two school softball games for emma as well as a double-header that marks the beginning of the North Area season; ben works three shifts at Connie's and has a couple of tests coming up; and the last week of classes for the two college kids. also hoping to finalize travel plans for our trip to Turkey in June.

history day results
a long and stressful day at the U on saturday but ultimately rewarding. ben and wyatt made it through three rounds of competition (including a runoff against another como team in the second round to make it to the finals) and ended up with an honorable mention maroon medal at the awards ceremony at the end of the day. (given that they reached the finals, we think they probably finished 6th or 7th but only the top 5 spots are specified). ben's friend abby and her partner got 4th in exhibits, and a number of former mmsa students at other schools did well also. we had a celebration feast at famous dave's to mark the occasion.
