hot but not bothered

besides record-setting hot weather (95 degrees here yesterday) here's what we've got: emma's year-end band concert tonite (after ben gets home from connie's); north area double-header tomorrow night; caa championship game thursday after school; nana and papa arrive on friday. who knows what all we'll do with them, except we do know that we've got tickets reserved for the dead sea scrolls exhibit at the science museum saturday afternoon.

other news that got lost in the softball excitement last week: a special dinner at Little Szechuan with hannah and her family (their first time there) on saturday; doug and ben singing a couple of african songs with the hope choir at church on sunday; terri and friends discussing "Eat, Love, Pray" on sunday afternoon; garden planting around heat, humidity, and scattered showers.
