emma back and we're now in LA!

emma got back from safety patrol camp in legionville friday night and we celebrated with her favorite: a steak dinner (and veggies from the garden). it sounded like she had a good time, worked hard, and learned a lot; her cabin finished 2nd in almost all the competitions except tug of war, which they won! we spent the evening packing and arrived here in California about noon yesterday. hanging out with terri's sister's at Pauline's place in Sunset Beach. Very relaxing and fun, except for the hour or so Ben and Doug spent getting pummeled by the huge waves at high tide. Actually, that was pretty fun too.
