wrapping up, moving on

this morning we're wrapping up our stay here in San Francisco (dominated by the sociology meetings) and heading out to rent a car to go down to Mendicino for some real R and R. Not that what haven't squeezed some fun stuff here in too--cable cars, fisherman's warf, some nice (if pricey) dinners, and last night we went to the Giants/Dodgers game at ATT Park (which really is a beautiful and unique setting overlooking the bay, seeing the boats and the fog roll in, etc).  Still, will be good to let work and sociologists go for a few days and emma definitely won't miss walking on the streets (and among the characters) of the big city.
