last day in LA

in the middle of our last day here in La, La land. kids swimming in the grandparent's pool right now. had chinese dumplings (one of our favorites from Beijing for lunch). washing clothes and getting back to move up the coast to SF for the sociology meetings--after that (probably tuesday), we'll head to Monterray for the rest of the week. Not sure what kind of internet access we'll have in our hotels during that time, but hoping the meetings go quickly and smoothly so we can have some relaxing and fun time after that.
