fun on the ocean front

spent the day yesterday down at sunset beach. went for morning runs and walks (ben and doug, the former, terri and emma the latter), and then had blue-berry pancake breakfast. terri, ben, and doug then rented kayaks and paddles around the bay and channels for a few hours looking at all of the mansions and yachts. later in the afternoon, then, we went down and swam and bodysurfed in the ocean. waves were strong and choppy but the water was wonderfully warm. 

now up in Temple City with Terri's mom and dad. went over to live oak park to exercise a bit after breakfast and now kids swimming in the pool. needless to say, much calmer than the ocean.
